CAR T cell therapy
This type of immunotherapy uses the body’s immune system to fight and attack cancer cells. In this method, a patient’s t cells are taken from the patient’s body, directly from the cancerous tumor. These cells are then modified in the lab to make them stronger. Post that, these same cells are then injected back into the person’s body to fight off the cancerous cells.
